I’m on the phone with a potential tenant who is calling about renting space in a shopping center.

Me:  …and what kind of business do you have?

Potential Tenant:  I can’t tell you.

Me:  What?  Why?  I need to know the type of business that you’ll be running.  I have to make sure it meets our leasing and zoning restrictions for the property.  The use also has to be detailed in the lease.  So what sort of business is it?

Potential Tenant:  I can’t tell you.  You’ll steal my idea.
