There was a massage business in the shopping center.  It was bright and clean and looked like a medical office.  Then the owner retired and sold the business to another operator.  This new operator immediately changed things in the shop.  He installed metal security gates over the doors, put up security cameras and covered up the windows with dark tinting so you couldn’t see into the space from outside.

I immediately met with the new operator and told him it looked like he had set up the place for prostitution and that was not going to be happening on our property.

He was shocked by my accusations!  Clapped his hands on his cheeks in shock!  He huffed and puffed in shock!  He was outraged with shock!  He wagged his finger in my face and said “You have a dirty dirty mind!” and he went off on how he was a legitimate businessman and he was just trying to protect his employees from bad people.

Before the next rent payment was due his space was raided by the police for… prostitution.  Shocking, right?   He was arrested, the business closed down and it was all just so shocking!

A hair salon moved into the space soon afterwards.  So it all worked out to a happy ending.

Get it?  Happy ending?
